Data Deletion Instructions

Method 1: Reset Directly Inside HabitFine

To wipe all habit data while keeping the application installed:

1. Open the HabitFine app.
2. Tap the More tab (or gear icon in the header) to open Settings.
3. Scroll down to Backup & Reset.
4. Tap Reset All Local Data.
5. Confirm the security prompt. All habits, check-in history, focus logs, and penalty calculations will be permanently erased immediately.

Method 2: Clear Android Application Storage

You can also perform a complete clean slate using your Android device settings:

1. Open your phone's Settings.
2. Navigate to Apps (or Application Manager).
3. Find and tap on HabitFine.
4. Tap Storage & cache.
5. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data) and confirm.

This removes all local databases, cache files, and private preferences stored by the app.

Method 3: Uninstall the Application

Uninstalling HabitFine from your device immediately deletes the app's sandboxed local database, SQLite records, and internal files automatically.

Method 4: Removing Exported Backup Files

If you previously exported manual JSON backup files or CSV spreadsheets to your device's download folder or SD card, open your device's Files app and delete any files named habitfine_backup_*.json or habitfine_*.csv.

Method 5: Deleting Google Drive Cloud Backups

If you linked your private Google Drive account to store backups:

1. Open Google Drive in your browser or app.
2. Go to Settings → Manage Apps.
3. Locate HabitFine.
4. Click Options → Delete hidden app data.

Method 6: Support Email Record Deletion

If you have communicated with our developer team via email and wish to have your email correspondence deleted from our inbox, email us at contact@procsctools.in with the subject line "Delete My Email Records" and we will permanently delete all conversation threads within 48 hours.
