Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Developer Information

This Privacy Policy explains how HabitFine (referred to as "we", "us", or "our", developed by ProCSC Tools / Jitendra) handles information when you use our mobile application (Package ID: com.procsctools.habitfine) and official website (habitfine.procsctools.in / igjitendra.github.io/habitfine).

2. Zero Account & Zero Data Harvesting

Unlike traditional productivity apps, HabitFine does not require an account, username, password, or email registration. You can download and immediately use the entire application without surrendering your personal identity.

• No Identity Profiling: We do not collect names, phone numbers, contacts, device identifiers, or biometric data.
• No Location Tracking: HabitFine does not request or access GPS, network location, or Wi-Fi triangulation.
• No Ad Networks: There are strictly zero behavioral advertising SDKs, data brokers, or monetization trackers embedded in HabitFine.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created during normal use and is stored strictly within your device's isolated local sandbox storage (via SQLite and AsyncStorage):

• Habits & Goals: Names of habits, frequencies, completion milestones, and category tags.
• Check-In History: Timestamps of marked check-ins (completed, missed, or skipped routines).
• Focus Logs: Durations of Pomodoro sessions, flowtime counts, linked tasks, and retro flip clock intervals.
• Virtual Penalty Records: Penalty amounts, virtual fine jar accumulation, and simulated fine-to-savings transfers.
• Preferences: Curated themes (Crimson, Violet, Ocean Blue, Obsidian, etc.), ambient sound volume, and notification reminder schedules.

4. Virtual Fine System Disclaimer

All fines, penalties, balances, and savings ledgers generated in HabitFine are 100% virtual psychological accountability mechanisms. HabitFine does not connect to your bank account, credit card, UPI, PayPal, or any financial institution to deduct real money. You retain complete discretion over your real-world money at all times.

5. In-App Purchases (HabitFine Plus) & Billing

HabitFine offers an optional premium pass called HabitFine Plus that unlocks unlimited habits, all 6 interactive Android widgets, 52-week contribution heatmaps, streak freeze shields, and executive themes.

• Payment Processing: All monetary transactions are processed directly and securely by the Google Play Store billing system. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or banking details.
• Entitlement Sync: Subscription states and lifetime pass unlocks are verified using the RevenueCat SDK and cryptographically sealed locally so your features remain fully active even when offline or in airplane mode.

6. Cloud & Local Backups (User-Directed Only)

You have full sovereignty over your database:

• Local JSON Backup: You can export a human-readable JSON backup file directly to your device storage or SD card using the system file picker.
• Google Drive Cloud Backup: If you voluntarily choose to enable Google Drive backup, the app connects directly to your private Google Drive account using Google APIs. The backup file is placed in your private application storage folder and is not accessible to us or any third party.

7. Data Deletion & Retention

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you possess unconditional control to delete it at any second:

• In-App Reset: Navigate to Settings → Reset all local data to permanently wipe all habits, logs, and fine records.
• Android Settings: Open Android Settings → Apps → HabitFine → Storage → Clear Data.
• App Uninstall: Uninstalling HabitFine instantly deletes all local app databases and private preferences.

8. Children's Privacy

HabitFine does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). The application contains no tracking or social media networking features.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this policy to reflect new app features. Any updates will be posted directly to this URL with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the application signifies acceptance of any modifications.
